As discussed at Friday's Open Space event at Barsoom, in a session titled "Growing SHRUG", we are going to plan Stockholm Ruby as quarterly seasons.
The idea is that the season kicks off with a RailsGirls-like course, then every two weeks an event happens that progressively grows in difficulty. For example, we may start with a Rails & Ruby install-fest, then two weeks later with a Rails intro course, then two weeks later a presentation night with accessible material, then an open space, then hack night, and so on, culminating in a presentation night with more in-depth material. Then we plan again and repeat.
(None of this stops other events from happening, mind you; the monthly hack nights will continue!)
Does this sound interesting? Can you contribute with marketing, recruitment, finding presenters, coaching, or leadership? We want you here!
