Time: 7:30 - 9pm
Our topic this evening will be "Drop Every Demand" part I, a satsang on CD with Adyashanti... 47 minutes of listening followed by silence & presence sharing that arises from the teachings we just heard.
The holidays offer many opportunities to feel the hustle & bustle demands, equally to drop them just the same.
"Love... Peace... Joy... Truth... Awareness... Now... "
"...only the mind can be confused... what does awareness feel like as it radiates through the body?... it becomes a heartful awake-fullness to experience, to feel... the sacred essence experience in your being...
a lover of what Is... "
Hope you will join us dear friends : )
The Dallas Silent Gathering of Adyashanti is growing as more people interested in deepening presence, awareness, consciousness, Oneness, awakening are coming from all over! It is humbling to be part of a group dedicated to the pursuit of Truth and awakening. Over the past weeks, members have begun communicating with each other and the viral "word of mouth" is attracting new members desiring peace and freedom to private gatherings outside of meetup, where sharing is honoured.
There is no dogma in this group, as Truth is Truth. This forum merely points, facilitates and serves the truth seeker. It is our hope to nurture direct inquiry to assist each member to discover Truth for themselves. This experience exclusively honors direct knowledge, and the means to that knowledge, that which leads to an end of seeking.
This is a Gathering of Open Gate Sangha, a non profit organization, dedicated to supporting the teachings of Adyashanti by making them available to all who sincerely yearn for peace and freedom.
These meetings are designed as a forum for people who are naturally drawn to the sincerity and depth of Adyashanti's message- and most of all to his emphasis on truth, and not the teacher.
The group will normally have a silent format, where members meditate, watch a DVD, and leave in silence.
At times, members may listen to Adya's guided meditations, read from his books, and share how these teachings have affected their lives. Whatever the format, there is an opportunity to share time with others in the love of truth.

The website is maintained by atma-vicara, a non profit organization.
Satsang: Sat means Truth. Sang means coming together. Thus, Satsang means coming
together in a spirit of awareness of Truth. Satsang is a very useful and
enjoyable part of sadhana (spiritual practices), providing an informal
time and place where any subject relating to spiritual matters can be
discussed in a friendly atmosphere. It may be about philosophy and
practices, or simply to talk about life in the context of spiritual
practices. Such times can be a real key in bringing together practices
and understanding, for having those "Aha!" moments of clarity.
