This will be a thematically broad reading group. We may take suggested books from other groups, but we will not be bound by any list. Mainly our book selections are chosen through a group voting process. I will bring discussion questions to each meeting but we are in no way obliged to answer all of the questions or any of them at all if we so choose. They are merely a spring-board to get the conversation going. Books will be within the comprehension of the average educated adult- but complex enough to merit discussion--isssues and approaches to analysis will range from simple opinion upward to whatever we can handle without converting a hobby to a headache.
We now have a discussion blog: http://stlbookclub.wordpress.com/ Please stop by and feel free to comment and or contribute! Let me know if you would like to contribute and I can add you the list. Just remember I will not give out the meeting place on the blog for safety purposes.
The group is marked private to non-members but this is only to keep non-members from finding our meeting area. If you'd like to know more about the group, you can read the basic description, the About Us page, or you could always contact me directly.
Happy Reading!

In The Glass Castle, Walls chronicles her upbringing at the hands of eccentric, nomadic parents--Rose Mary, her frustrated-artist mother, and Rex, her brilliant, alcoholic father. Read more
