Hello, Denise, and welcome! I hope you enjoy some hikes with us while you're in Portland.
Hi there!!! I just found out about fun peeps. I'm. Soo excited!! You shuld join my golf group on Fridays. It's good to be living again!!! Hope your well
OK, I signed up. I am a slow-poke because I stop and photo plants, rock formations, whatever. I am also a bit unaccustomed to packing balance and am careful about going over rooty, rocky paths. Is there any scrambling or deeper stream crossing involved on the Meramec Wilderness trail hike?
Re: beginners backpack trip this weekend: I have packed the north loop of Whispering Pines trail (3 miles each day, 2 days, rooty and rocky) but haven't done the Lewis and Clark trail. Would I be suitable to do Castlewood with your group?
Did you go to some photography school ? Your pictures show that you really have an eye for it! Gary
I finally downloaded the Garmin ap and installed it and integrated with Google Earth. It looks like the Garmin track and waypoint data can be imported directly to Google Earth as well. Pretty neat. Thanks again for the tips!
Thanks Denise. These maps and altitude plots are great. I'm going to have to start doing this myself!
