Hi Egle,

nevertheless, have you tried this website we found are apartment thanks to them.
We're moving to a new flat at the end of the month, maybe you can check with them if our actual one would be free for a rental? we live in Hornsgatan 87 in Sodermalm.
Hope you'll find something very soon.

Best regards.

We have been looking for an apartment for over a month now with hundreds of sent emails and made calls, visits and being so close of getting a place but with no success in the end.  A week ago we were about to sign a contract when a lady changed her mind and gave it to a friend of friend. It is devastating. At this point, I am exhausted, frustrated, stressed and becoming very worried that in two weeks we are basically on the street. I cannot function. I am constantly on all websites, blocket, bostaddirekt, hyralya, studentlya, stockholm bostad, sssb, and various others that I could find. And I have been told on a numerous occasions that each advertisement receives over 200 emails just in one day. So looking for housing in Stockholm feels like banging head against the wall or trying to win a lottery.

I am 30 years old and my fiance is 45.  We moved from San Francisco to Stockholm a year ago and found an apartment for one year from the 2nd hands. It is ending this month with no extension.  I am finishing my Masters degree at Handels but I also work for Atlas Copco in Sickla and Stephen is self-employed. We are friendly, mature and responsible. Non smokers, no pets. We also have references from the last two landlords.

At this point, we are looking for an apartment or small house basically anywhere, even beyond the metro lines such as Nacka, Värmdo, Tyresö, Haninge, Vaxholm, etc with the exceptions being Rinkeby and the areas around it.  I am willing to commute. The term can be either long or short. We are willing to rent for a short-time so it gives us more time to find something permanent.

Thank you,
