Listen, I'm back in Sweden as of this week. Alas, I am heading off again tomorrow, but only for the weekend, so I'll set up something for next week. Anyone know if the Wirstroms quiz is back on again after the summer break?

Hi there,
I've noticed that this group has seen a whole lot of intriguing new members sign up in the last couple months, and yet the summer has seen a serious slowdown of actual events. I can't exactly explain the reason for this, but I think it's because the organizers happen to be taking a lot of vacations (as do so many others in Sweden), and also our real jobs and so forth are taking up terribly much of our time.
This is not to say we have abandoned the group! We'll be organizing something new shortly, I'm sure of it. For my part, it will have to be after my dad, who's visiting, returns to the U.S. And the others, while maybe too busy to organize, are probably up for attending something that someone else organizes.
So in the meantime, some of you new members can organize something, or some of the other members who haven't been organizers before. To do this, first email Liz and ask to be designated as an organizer. Then choose a date that works for you. If you know of a good locale, enter the info in the event, or you can also choose from one of the past locales (I think Meetup keeps a list of them somewhere, along with member ratings and such). Finally, be sure to put up a photo of yourself on your profile, so that when others come, they know what face to look for.
Easy as pie. Hope to see some of you soon,
