Radio Sweden - the English-language channel of Swedish public service radio Sveriges Radio - is putting on a live show at Kulturhuset on Tuesday May 13th. Anyone can join the audience. There will be Balkan music and debates about the EU! The event is free. More details below.

Can the EU make Sweden more dynamic?

Join Radio Sweden for a live broadcast from Kulturhuset on the EU and dynamism. A first-time voter and a highly-skilled worker put a panel of EU parliament candidates from across the political spectrum to task, asking: Can the EU make the public excited about politics and what chance does Sweden stand in attracting foreign workers? We invite the audience to challenge the panelists with questions and comments.

Anna Maria Corazza Bildt, Member of the European Parliament, Moderate Party
Annika Hirvonen, European Parliament candidate for the Green Party and chair of the Culture and Leisure Board in Sundbyberg, Stockholm.
Jasenko Selimovic, EU Parliament candidate for the Liberal Party
Metin Rhawi, entrepreneur and EU Parliament candidate for the Social Democrats

Plus: A Swedish first-time voter and a highly skilled worker from outside the EU.

Date: Tuesday May 13th
Time: The 30-minute show starts at 15.00.
Place: Stadsteatern, floor 4, Kulturhuset

You are also more than welcome to stay on for a reception with live music, starting at 15.30. Performers are Scandinavia's hottest urban Balkan jazz band Gothenburg Gadjos. Staff and audience members of Radio Sweden’s eight departments will be there. This is a free event. More info on Facebook: https://www.facebook....
