Equities Lab Beta Users Group meeting #3

This will cover Equities Lab and technical analysis -- you can scan the entire market and find all companies in a declining wedge formation, or with strong stocastic. We'll demonstrate that, and then how to see how those companies would have done after flashing the signal. We'll also focus on taking a particular stock, and a TA algorithm, and tuning it to work well on the stock.
Lastly, this will also be an improv session, where we, as a group put the program through its paces and demonstrate how it can help you in your investing. Bring a laptop, and a problem to solve, a question to answer, or a task you typically do in other systems, and we'll try to do it in Equities Lab, and see how it works. We'll be meeting at the Gordon Biersh resturaunt in Buckhead, so come hungry, as they'll sell you an excellent dinner and drinks. Parking is easy and free. Please RSVP Yes if want to attend -- the resturaunt wants to have an idea how many people are coming...

give 3 examples of objectives one would use to select the filter criteria in building the "wedge", e.g. P/E, ROI, etc; cap size, performance measure over a given time period, unique product - market - CANSLIM. IBD, it seems to provide a frame work along this line with its Leader Board list. I want to learn how to use the filters to "select out" all but the most profitable.................
