This is an invitation/reminder that the AAII Atlanta Chapter meeting is tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 7pm at the Cobb Galleria Centre - Room 104.

The AAII Atlanta Chapter will present:
"Income Investing in Crazy Times While Protecting Capital"

Discussed by:
Donald Cassidy
President, Retirement Investing Institute

This wide-ranging presentation will cover income opportunities and important caveats in today?s ?brave new world? economy. The speaker will caution against reaching for yield, will urge investors to be active rather than passive, and will cover numerous income vehicles well beyond vanilla bonds. These include utility and real-estate investment trusts (REITs), common and preferred stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), unit investment trusts (UITs), traditional open-end mutual funds, and closed-end funds. He will discuss opportunities in rising-income investments and inverse bond funds. Time permitting, he will also explore generating income via writing covered calls, a conservative strategy few investors use.

Open to all members of the public. Bring a friend, colleague and/or family member. Fee is $15 at the door. Ample free parking. Interactive map at and directions @
