The ALA's Office for Intellectual Freedom compiles lists of most frequently challenged books. We do not claim comprehensiveness in recording challenges as research suggests that for each challenge reported there are as many as four or five which go unreported.

DEAR FELLOW  BOOK CLUB MEMBERS,   GREETINGS  FROM DOWN EAST MAINE!  I HOPE  ONE OF YOU CAN HELP ME  FIND  A  WEB SITE,    IT  HAS TO DO WITH BOOK CHALLENGES,   SUCH AS:  A  CHALLENGE  TO READ A BOOK FROM  ONE OF THE 50 STATES,  OR A BOOK CHALLENGE TO READ  100 BOOK  THIS YEAR.     I KNOW  THAT WE HAVE  TALKED ABOUT IT IN OUR MEETINGS,  BUT, I CAN NOT  FIND IT,  SO, IF ANYONE KNOW THE WEB ADDRESS,I WOULD APPRECIATE IT,  THANKS!!    WE  HAVE HAD A LOT  OF RAINY  DAYS HERE IN  MAINE,  ( I AM NEAR BANGOR/BAR HARBOR)  BUT, I WENT TO MY FAVORITE  USED  BOOK STORE,  AND STOCKED ON GOOD BOOKS TO READ,  SO,  RAINY  DAYS,  ARE FINE WITH ME, !!!   I HOPE YOU ALL ARE HAVING A GOOD SUMMER,  AND,  WILL BE THINKING OF YOU WHEN YOU MEET  AGAIN SOON FOR  BOOK CLUB,   BEST REGARDS TO YOU ALL,   TERRI BROWNELL
