North Mecklenburg Strategy Game Night

Participants should bring any games they are interested in playing and I encourage using the message board to setup games and participants in advance. This meetup event is a great opportunity to meet the newest members of the Queen City Game Club as well as to introduce all members to new games. A selection of games will be available and feel free to bring your own favorites as well. Knowledge of the rules of a particular game is not required in advance to participate. It is assumed that the person bringing the game will need to spend some time teaching the rules to everyone else participating. The event will run approximately 3 hours but they are open until midnight.

Definitely had a great time. Go Humans!

I just happened to look up the Banditos game on Boardgamegeek and found this bit:

"Errata: There were two printing errors in the first edition. Thankfully, once you are aware of them, they do not affect game play.
First, the starting stuff (blue backed cards) includes a 9mm browning automatic. It was intended to be a .45 automatic handgun for "the Cleaner." Apart from "the Cleaner" not having his weapon of choice, the two guns do exactly the same thing.
Second, you need to multiply each Nuevo Peso card (green backed cards) by a factor of one thousand. The artist dropped the ball on this one and I somehow missed it in the editing. The good news is that the math is very easy."

Not sure what the stuff with the handgun is about, but the second explains the seemingly impossible amount you need to win the game.

Looking forward to the next meetup!
