Finally! I wanted to give people time to plan and I'll fill in the details (meeting place, etc) after I scout the location.
Let's do this.

Great job Joe. Good call for us bulb first-timers. Will be fun to go back one night to light paint.

Great group of people and a fantastic location for shooting. So much great graffiti, sculpture and even little dwellings. Tempting to go back and see what I missed.
The site was so packed with visuals of all kinds it was almost overwhelming. No matter which small path you meandered off to, there would be something of interest. In a way, I'm glad my camera wasn't working. It would have taken me forever to edit. Very dark and light place.
Food options are aplenty on nearby Solano and San Pablo Avenues. Target is across the freeway complete with Starbucks and food kiosk as well as nice clean restrooms.I was just out there on Monday and was a little disappointed in the dis-tagging on the graffiti but other than that it's still a pretty cool place to visit. One more thing... there are no trail/path markers and they sort of meander to and fro. Okay enough said now go have fun!!!

Being that I have been here several times with my dogs I just want to give you a heads up that parking is some what limited on weekends as it is a haven for dog lovers especially on a nice day. There is only one porta-potti placed at the end of the cul-de-sac, but no running water. Girls I would suggest bringing a package of tissues just in case. All of the sculptures are on the north-northwest area and graffiti is abundant on all pieces of concrete.
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been in contact lately. I haven't been able to get to the location to scout, so this might be an interesting one. It looks like getting there is difficult by foot, so driving might be our best bet. There seems to be several parking spots at the end of Buchanan street, right before the trail starts. I think that is our best bet. Here is a map:
Let's plan on meeting at the Buchanan St cul-de-sac.

Hey Joe,Where are we supposed to meet for the Albany Bulb?
I'll be driving out there from the inner richmond if anyone wants to carpool from there or somewhere relatively on the way. Also curious as to the place we'll meet once there.

Hey Joe, any idea where we'd all be meeting yet? Is it accessible by BART or bus? Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
