The Digital Darkroom...

The Carriage House Studio and Gallery is pleased to announce "Wrapping it All Up - The Digital Darkroom" part of the workshop series in 2011!

Matt Constanza, photographer and videographer, a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology will give a presentation on how to efficiently manage your digital workflow and optimize the quality of the images you process in Photoshop/Lightroom. The 3 hour class will cover i) importing files, and efficiently sorting and selecting images, ii) the power of Camera Raw to prepare overall image quality, and iii) the basic tools of Photoshop to retouch images. Processing of both Color and Black and White images will be demonstrated. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is recommended, but not required. Participants should bring laptop with Photoshop or Lightroom installed and 2 to 3 images they want to work on to the class. Class size limited to 6 photographers. Fee: $45 ($20 Deposit Required)

    Hi - I'm interested in this one but I work on a desktop at home - I do not have a laptop with Lightroom on it. Would it still be worth it to participate?
