Freuen uns ueber jedes neue virtuelle Gesicht :-)

Sorry, mich hat die Erkältungswelle erwischt. Tausche StuttgartJS heute Abend gegen Tee und Couch.

@speakers I added a agenda (see above). Please speak out if you have any issues. Otherwise enjoy the sunny weekend and see you on monday!

    Dear All,

Will every thing will be in English or Deutsch?

    • Kentaro W.

I asked the speakers to present in english. I Think there will be some attendees which are not completely fluent in german.

I prepared my talk in english.

    Call for Speaker!
Andreas möchtest du uns Tessel vorstellen und Dimi dein hapi Plugin?

@Tim, I’m afraid it would be more of an introduction to and my experiences with ember. Similar to the hapi talk we had last month. On the part about best practices or scalability you would be better served with some blog posts/talks done by people who use ember on a daily basis on enterprise grade applications. These will be part of the talk but not the focus as there is only so much you can fit into one evening.

As for the part about comparisons i’d be interested in maybe sometime having a kind of “battle” where one will plan a few challenges and people would have to solve them live on the beamer with the framework of their choice :)

Sounds good. I love the idea of "battles"! :D

War das schon immer möglich, dass ich als normaler Member das Meetup Profil ändern darf...also Gruppenname, Termin, Beschreibung etc.??

Danke - hab ich nun umgestellt. Sollte nun nur noch den Organizern möglich sein.

    I propose:
    1. Andreas shows us Tessel
    2. Dimi presents his hapi plugin
    3. Alex talks about Elastic Search
    4. Axel closes meetup with a Ember.js talk.

@Dimi: how long will you present?
@Axel: is 1h enough for you?

    • Axel H.

1 hour is fine. Although i guess we wont be able to push through all those 4 in one session with q&a + discussions. Nevertheless i’m going to prepare something nice :)

We have a "problem" of too many topics.
I think Andreas and Dimi were the first ones.
So do you still want to present? If so how long will you present?

    October 1

    • Andreas W.

Oh, shouldn't be a problem. I'll need just 5-10 minutes to show you how a tessel works. Or we can reschedule this for december.

    • Tim J.

I like the idea of (many) short presentations! :)

Kennen sich Leute auch mit fabric.js und möglichen Alternativen aus und können darüber was erzählen?!

    September 29

  • Alex R.

    Wird es manche Vorträge geben?

      Danke für die Erinnerung ;-)
