I like to get out and ride my bike but hate riding alone. I need the motivation that the group provides and the push to ride farther than I normally might. Plus I love the company, the people are great.

Thanks, Lani. Sweet of you to reply. I remember you from my ONE Kensington ride earlier this year. I injured my back again about the time of the Michigan Ride and missed the Kal-Haven trail and good time as a result. All healed again. Look forward to seeing you and meeting others around this hike and camp fire. Sounds fun. You are in Novi, right? Thanks for the information and directions.

Hey Lani, I am thinking about buying a new hybrid bike. Can you recommend a good bike store? I read that Two Tangos? in Ann Arbor is good. See you eventually!

Hi Lani,

Okay, first ride of the year....in or out. Not in great shape .....is this ride too much for someone who put on the winter fat coat? Hills, length? I want to be able to walk two days later!!!! Sounds like fun...but the hills and 25 miles sounds a bit intimidating. I don't know this route or area much.....thoughts about level of ride difficulty for a leisure biker.

Hi lani,

The routes are marked and also the hand out maps are easy to follow. You can always register on site as I do because I never no due to scheduling. It's a relaxing fun ride and your chance to catch flying pancakes...in your cleats!

Hi Lani. Thanks for your interest in contra dancing. It's for all ages, easy to learn, social, fun and no special attire- just casual. Most dances feature beginner training at the outset. Titanic and Robin Hood ( latest) featured similar dancing. AACTMAD is a good resource for Michigan. I'll be at the Oakland Co dance ( OCTDS) in Clawson Saturday nite ( 3-26). I invite you and any Meetup member to attend. Good time guaranteed!
