Cheri Meyers suggested we put together "How about setting up a meetup where someone teaches the rest of us about a topic they specialize in? Like photo-retouching for web designers. I could - and would be willing to teach that. Other topics I would love: Tips on CSS, Learning to Market Your Website...... I'm fairly new to the East Coast so any ideas on where would have to come from other members. We could vote on when."

Good meeting. About a dozen showed, which was a good turn out. We each introduced ourselves, planned for the next meeting and talked amongst each other. There was a variety of knowledge coming from everyone. Very open and friendly group.

Excellent Meeting! Things off to a great start. Some fabulous people with some fantastic technology skills and background. Looking forward to the next meeting, and learning something new from one of the presenters.

I recommend Panera Bread, which has free wireless, is good for group discussions, and the *Waterbury* one is about central for all the other counties in CT. p.s. Panera has coffee, tea, bakery, pizza, sandwiches, food & food if anyone's hungry.

Location Recommendation: SBC Restaurant & Brewery in Hamden, 30 seconds after getting off Ex 60 off Merritt Pkwy (Make a right) Plenty of easy parking. Address: 1950 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT - (203)[masked]

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
