Re: [web-127] Idea for meetup

Hi Jeffrey,

I just moved to the Fairfield county this year. I do look for a local Meetup such as this one to know better of the people who are interested in Web technology living in this area. And I believe many others might have the similar expectation too. The Meetup may just need a few extra advertisement or simply try to figure out a better time and location so that people could come.

As far as I can see, the difference between this Meetup and the Meetups in New York City is that everybody in Fairfield county may have to drive in rush hour to reach the Meetup, while in NYC the place may either be very close to where the members work or they can take subway. Since you are the Meetup organizer, I would recommend you seriously think of this difference. Time and location could decide the fate of this Meetup.

As to me, I will try to come to this next Meetup. If there is a need, I can share my experience on Semantic Web and ontology development.

best,

yihong

Cheri and I have been planning this for a while. Anyone interested?

Because of lack of participation, this group is in danger of folding. We looking for participation and activity from any and all that are interested in creating something extraordinary.

Please respond and let me know your thoughts, wishes, etc.,

Jeffrey
