Win a stand up paddle board at this Saturday's SUP ATX Demo Day! Try stand up paddling for free! SUP ATX holds free Demo Days every Saturday morning under the Mo-Pac bridge on Lady Bird Lake beginning at 10am. This Saturday Jan 30 is an extra special Demo Day. We will be giving away a stand up paddle board and paddle. Simply join this Meetup group and show up for this Saturday morning Demo Day on Lady Bird Lake. The drawing will be held and winner will be announced later the same day at 3pm at Austin Paddle Sports. Austin Paddle Sports is now carrying SUP ATX stand up paddle boards. After our Demo Day on Lady Bird Lake, everyone is heading over to Austin Paddle Sports showroom for free drinks, food and the stand up paddle board drawing. The SUP ATX team seen in the "Stand Up Paddle Journey from Malibu to Austin" will all be in attendance on Lady Bird Lake and at Austin Paddle Sports. So, this is a great time to check out stand up paddle boards, talk to experts, try paddling, have a great chance of winning your own board, and to be a part of the fast growing community of stand up paddlers in Central Texas! cat slatinskyhope everyone had fun on ladybird lake! it's a little strange that this guy is claiming to be the #1 SUP board maker in the world however. i'm sure there are a bunch of shapers out there that would wholeheartedly
disagree. my advice to everyone is to not buy an SUP board or paddle based on cheapness in price. are there any photos from the event? that would be cool to see. aloha!

Matthew WellsIt's Central Texas, 30 something degrees, 10a.m. on a Saturday Morning, and there was A LINE to get on a board to go out and SURF a wave that hardly existed. IT WAS PERFECT. Everyone was Smiling, laughing, yelling for Joy. It's no wonder it's the fastest growing water sport in the world. What were you thinking SUP ATX? Keep up the incredible work. And again, THANK YOU!

Mark Beanei was surprised at how many people attended despite the cold weather. i got there about 10:30 and there were about 30 people watching and trying out the SUP boards. austin paddle sports was great as well.
