Welcome to the Moms of Steele Creek formerly Moms of Steele (Creek) group! This group is open to SAHM and working moms in the SW Charlotte area as well as Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie.  Our group is a great way for you to meet other moms in your community to socialize with and who share similar interests and values.  Since being a mom is always an adventure what better way to enjoy all of these adventures than by sharing them with other moms and little ones! 

Our mission is to develop a diverse group of moms and children who share similar interests in safe, fun and creative activities and hopefully build lasting friendships. We will try our best to offer a wide variety of playdates that should meet most moms' schedules and interests.  However we encourage you to contact one of our organizers if you have an idea for a playdate or would like to host a playdate.    

To allow all of our members to feel comfortable and get the most out of our group we have a few basic guidelines below:

*Be courteous when you RSVP to events. We understand that things come up when children are involved but it’s considered inconsiderate to frequently change your RSVP less than 24 hours prior to a meetup or to have regular "No Shows".

*We ask that you treat everyone with respect and refrain from judging others' beliefs and parenting techniques. We would like to encourage a supportive environment. 

*We ask that all hostesses’ please advise if there are animals within the home and if they will be around the children. *Please advise if your child(ren) have any known food allergies. This will allow us to avoid bringing such foods to play dates.

*We ask that all sick children be kept at home.

This group is what we all make of it so we encourage everyone to be as active as possible.  If you would like to be an event organizer or host regular playdates please contact of our organizers.
