Lake Norman- Get ready for the largest SUP Race in the Charlotte Area. This event will be Hosted by My Aloha Paddle and Surf to benefit the Catawba Riverkeeper and the Charlotte Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Location and Agenda;
Port City Club 18665 Harborside Rd. Cornelius, NC 28031 Friday Evening Meet and Greet - Hosted by My Aloha Paddle and Surf to benefit the Surfrider Foundation. Join us from 6pm to 9pm for food(appetizers), drinks(cash bar) and meet fellow Stand Up Paddlers from all over the region and local to Lake Norman and the Charlotte area. Racers bag pick up.

Saturday Morning- 7am to 8am Pre-race Coffee/Pastries/Fruit and water available
8am Pre race meeting - WPA Region 6 sanctioned Elite and Recreational races to follow.
11am Awards Ceremony on the beach followed by a North Carolina styled Luau featuring the Island Hula Girls along with some Island music and vibe.

      Absolutely....great job by Rob, Shane, rest of staff & volunteers. The true test was how would the out of town'ers like the event...and it passed with flying colors as I heard lots of very positive comments/feedback from the folks who traveled in from Wilmington, Charleston, & Morehead City. Great job to everyone and for a great cause too.
