"We'll assemble at Wasabi Japanese Restaurant, where upon greeting our hosts, we'll make a toast for good tidings with an introductory Momokawa Organic Ginjo Nigori cocktail paired with edamame appetizer.
We'll then gather around the sushi assembly area, collecting tips on how to suss out the good fish from the bad, prepare rice effectively, and how to add ingredients to create the perfect roll. First up will be the California roll, paired with Yoshi no Gawa sake. Our hosts will explain the fundamentals of sake making and flavor profile of the drink, as well, paying particular attention to fermenting standards and the history of this fermented grain. Then we'll prepare and sink into an Alaskan hand roll—Salmon, avocado, and cucumber—paired with Mighty Peak sake. Our final creation to enjoy will be a Crunchy Roll, consisting of Shrimp tempura and avocado on the inside and tempura flake on the outside, and the Field Crane sake. And to top of the savory side of our meal, we'll dive into an ice cream ensemble with infused sake for dessert!.
