Something Different - Señor Sushi

And now for something completely different.... Mexican Sushi. Now before you pass judgment, this establishment came highly recommended by several of our members. In addition, Sushi-licious ventured over in May and gave it our stamp of approval.

The fusion of Japanese and Latin Gastronomy create an exotic and explosive taste unequaled in the Valley of the Sun. Señor Sushi has created an effusive spot combining, exquisite food, extravagant drinks and live entertainment. Mixing traditional Japanese cuisine with Latin creativity, the unique combination that will awaken all your senses!

Señor Sushi is located in the shopping center on the northwest corner of N. 43rd Ave. and W. Indian School Rd.

As a side note, the Sushi Chef at Señor Sushi is Julian, who was one of our favorites when he worked at Nakama. For those of us who attended any of the Nakama Sushi 101 dinners, Julian was always our personal chef.

As always, it's not necessary to RSVP "No" if you are not attending. We'll know you're not coming when you don't RSVP "Yes"

So sorry for the last minute cancellation - I was really looking forward to this. Just have to work late to meet some deadlines...

It's okay, me, too. I did an eleventh hour cancellation, again, and I was also looking forward to it.

Bummer... was looking forward to seeing you! Looks like I'm gonna miss my class, again, 'cause I have to work late too but that means I can make sushi... Lucky me!!

Sadly... I'm going to have to rescind my RSVP... I totally didn't realize it was a Monday... I have a class that I've already missed way to many sessions of due to work... Can't afford to miss another. Hopefully, next time Sushi-licious does Senor Sushi, it won't be on a Monday so I can go. LOVE this place! :-(

i suggest you review the menu (see the link above) to familiarize yourself on the selections. If the "Latin Rolls" don't seem to your tastes, the "Traditional Rolls" are also very good.
