Re: [sushi-126] Confusion

I am not quite sure what happened at the last sushilicious meeting, but did someone actually say they didn't want to attend because of the people going?  I personally did not attend last night because I do not like to drive out too far on a weekday while the one next week will be closer to my home and work.  In most of the meetup groups I am in, I get the feeling that the more 'choices' the better and additional events presented by associate organizers are appreciated by the members.  It gives us more options to RSVP - not a division between official and unofficial events as suggested.  After all, the spirit is to hang out with company you enjoy, and that is ultimately a member's choice?  The only thing that would be unfair would be to RSVP yes and not to show up.

Happy Friday Sushi-Licious!!

There appears to be some confusion about the group. There is only ONE Sushi-licious and it seems as if there are two. If there are members that are not happy about the way the group is going, it is fine to voice your opinion. It's a bit discouraging when members "un RSVP" to a Meetup because it isn't the group that they want to attend. We are trying to change the make-up of the group to accomodate smaller meetups, therefore we are meeting twice a month. If that doesn't work for you, why don't you email me and we can do our best to accomodate your needs. The next OFFICIAL meetup is June 25th, hope to see you all there.
