Collaborate on solutions for Energy and Water in Southern California: Moving to Sustainability--
To register now for a day between September 20-25: http://wrsc.org/?page....
You will have the chance to participate in an accelerated design process – a tool that builds consensus, so that sustainable policies, projects and solutions can be implemented more quickly.
The World Resources Simulation Center (WRSC) is an immersive visualization environment that connects people who work on sustainability issues with our business leaders and policy-makers.
The session is being coordinated by the Global Energy Network Institute (GENI) at the New School of Architecture & Design in downtown San Diego. Co-hosts include San Diego State University Viz Lab, SDSU Department of Geography, and the California Center for Sustainable Energy.
Time will be dedicated each day to learning, presenting and collaborating on solutions and strategies. These issues will be examined from the macro to micro perspective. You will be surrounded in the scientific foundation, images, trend graphs, GIS visualization and simulations. As a planned outcome, prioritized scenario options for dealing with energy and water sustainability in our region will be developed.
