Hello Happy Campers,
Mark your calendar for going to Clear Lake State Park on June 8th to10th, 2012.
Go to the park website for more information about the park:
Clear Lake State Park is on the shores of California’s largest freshwater lake. The area is popular for all kinds of water recreation, including swimming, fishing, boating and water-skiing.
The bass fishing is so good that the professional bass fishing organizations, such as U.S. Bass, Cal Bass, Western Bass, have designated Clear Lake as the number one bass lake in the nation, based on numbers of fish caught. There are also catfish, blackfish, Sacramento perch, hitch, crappie and bluegill.
We will be in site # 54, 55 and 56 in the Kelsey Campground. Directions to get there are: The entrance to the park is on Soda Bay Road 3.5 miles northeast of Kelseyville.
One of the sites can be used for a camper trailer or such. The maximum vehicle length is 35 feet. You would pay me for it since I have already reserved and paid for it. The price would be $70 for two nights.
For tent campers, the cost of the camping trip will be a flat price of $18.
Please contact me by email or comments with any questions you have.
I hope we have a good turnout -- the more the merrier!
