GTUG Campout: Frequently Asked Questions

Announcement | Camp Site | Schedule | Volunteers | FAQ

  • What is the event schedule?
See the detailed schedule for the weekend. Campout will begin with registration on Friday evening at 6pm. Campers can truly camp either indoors or outdoors on campus both Friday and Saturday evenings. However, camping is optional. Demos will start before dinner at 4pm on Sunday afternoon.

  • Must my team develop a Google Wave Extension?
No. You are welcome to develop an Android, OpenSocial, etc... application over the weekend. The emphasis is on Google developer platforms, and Wave is just the newest platform to play with. Because Wave is so new, members of the Wave team may be around during parts of the event to answer questions and help people out. It's a great opportunity to play with this new technology that most people don't have access to yet!
