Satisfied my curiosity about improvements over previous version of Java. Some questions from audience I felt weren't truly addressed. Discussion on JavaFX seemed to drag on, although I felt I learned something.

The presentation was mediocre. I could have gotten same information without wasting 3 hours.

It was informative.JAVA FX demo could have had some live demo using the API instead of just a feature walk-thru.

  • Garrett S.

Very low in technical content. The demos were not too informative. Too much on plans, schedule, marketing, etc.

Hi Scott, I was unable to attend last night as well, so didn't record it. I'm not sure if anyone else did.

Things came up and I wasn't able to attend last night's Java SE 7 meeting. Was the meeting video-taped so I can view it ? Thx!

Thank you guys for the meeting. It was excellent. The presenters introduced the new features in Java 7 perfectly. The new features are excellent and I, as a Java developer, believe that they can reduce the developing time and increase the efficiency of program.

It's very helpful to get in person information about the new release because time is limited for looking at it online.
