Google Web Toolkit & Java Rebel
Fred Sauer, Google Developer Advocate, will give a "GWT Overview and Feature Preview" Google Web Toolkit Presentation. Fun Fact: the acronym, GWT, is typically pronounced with the "i" vowel sound as "gwit" by GWT users. After a short break, Toomas Römer will give a separate talk about JavaRebel.

Toomas Römer has been a R&D developer at the largest custom software
development company in the Baltics (Webmedia, Ltd) for the past couple
of years. Currently he is part of a spin-off called ZeroTurnaround
working on such projects as JavaRebel and JSPWeaver. He blogs at

Sridhar ReddyAll slideware. No demos. Overall it was good, but could have been better with some code example with IDE, build the app, deploy and then make some changes would have helped better.

SereteI loved the GWT presentation and depth at which the information was delivered given the time constraint. I was introduced to Java Rebel optimizer and learnt alot about it too.

SindhuGWT talk was not intended for a beginner audience. May be it's because of the limited time. But both the talks were good.

Ron UngerOnly stayed for GWT portion. Presenter and presentation were great, although I felt like there were a few places the material got too specific for the overview I expected.
