Product Desc: Smorecard
Smorecard: Mobile App tells "Which credit card should I use to maximize your return on rewards?"
The app helps the user maximize his/her credit rewards. You do NOT have to provide any sensitive information like personal or credit card information and it is FREE. If you use credit cards, you may get points, miles, or cash back...often for different types of purchases. For instance, you may get 2% back on gas one day with one card, 5% cash back on department stores on another card, 1% on groceries on other days with another card, etc. These categories may also change over time. If you use the right card at the right time, you can save pretty big money over time. It does get a bit complicated to remember all the rewards and use the optimal credit card every time.
Here is the fox news clip about the app: http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/story/20936082/2013/02/01/smorecard-app-credit-card-rewards

As a strategic business consultant, i am looking forward to this event. I am hoping to make some good friends.
February 12
I was thinking how effective is for VC or angels to find great hits? For example, if an idea is so great, would a founder give out information out until they build the business first an have traction in the market place? I guess this is probably great just to learn the ropes in early learning of entrepreneurship. Lucky it is free. It would be nice if someone would take all stats and found out how may start-ups succeed using these types of forums to find VCs and Angels. Let's say out of 1000 venture projects, how many actually make it into funding stage? I'm just throwing something to think about.
3 · February 11
Question is what is best way to get venture funding? It is better to build a product first an test the proof of concept and grow the business then go get funding or build the prototype then show VCs to get funding? Without VC funding early, your prototype might not be the best product since the product might need a bigger team of technical people working on it. So, bottom line is it i one tough act to get a great project out to the world.
