“I am CEO and Founder of StylSavvy, the ultimate shopping iPad app for fashion and accessories. When the iPad came on the market a couple of years ago, it was the perfect device for me to solve the issues I have with online shopping. I retaught myself coding and developed the StylSavvy platform: a native IOS iPad app, a RoR server, and a Mongo database. I learned Photoshop and took over the graphics (initially created by friends) . The business is based on the affiliate model, with stores including: Nordstrom's, Bloomingdale's, Dillard's and many more for content.

Presentation: StylSavvy

StylSavvy is an entirely new idea of what online fashion shopping can be. Shop many stores all in one place. The unique features include: scrollable rows to visually shop by outfits, the powerful StylSavvy Search (by brand, style, color, price, etc) to find the exact product you are looking for, a Style It area to refine your wardrobe, and a Closet to organize your wardrobe.

NinjaMyApp was presented by CTO Fred Radford, who is not listed above. We provide mobile developers an SDK that speeds the development process via consumer quality code that not only handles many of the common tasks and functions within App development but also abstracts the post-launch business and marketing operations to a Dashboard driven Mobile Back Office as a Service. Developers focus on the uniqueness of your App offering and the marketing team now handles the optimization of revenue production without programming.

Over 200 Mobile App Developers already use the technology having published over 80 Apps in the Apple iTunes Store. Free to develop with, we enable marketing best practices to enhance revenue streams from all sources including advertising, in App purchase (IPA), affiliate sales and increased installations.

We are accelerating our growth seeking additional world class team members and initial Angel funding. Currently focused on iOS issues, Android is next.

That was a cool and informative Meetup. I agree with Kevin..PA or mic set up should be sufficient for volume for the presenters. I was sorta taken back a bit that nobody out of 60 or so people knew what colorforms were though. LOL...Its ok to be a little older last time I checked..hehe! Good times.

Great event. Would definitely go again.
What can you improve? Control the time for each presentation.

    • Lars Føleide

Agreed. If you give people too much time, then quality per minute goes down.

Slim was apparently used to short presentations, since I would appreciate it if Yair would slow down - and spend more than a few seconds per slide.

1st event for me. good crowd, 60-75 attendees appx. 1) No microphone for speakers: minus one star, tough to hear. 2)Technical difficulties: minus one star, time delays and absent presos. 3) Good presentations, Three with really good potential. 4) Terrible voting process: minus one star, only 9 votes in a full house? How about passing out ballets and a box at require a vote (even if its blank and nly feedback) because the presentors worked extremely hard and deserve feedback, not silence...they showed their passion, reward them. 5) Learned a lot and broadened my perspective hearing the speakers, and conversing. Inspired me to be more comitted to my passion...plus one star.
