2. StuHuddle: “StuHuddle is an all-in-one collaborative tool improving the learning process.”

We use LMSs at MSU and other colleges across the U.S., but there isn't one singular platform to suit all needs. The features offered could either be unnecessary or too complicated. What if there was a single tool that included everything we expect in an LMS, added more, made it cooler, and was simpler to use? That was the birthing thought of StuHuddle.

Presenters’s Bio:

Mikos Jenkins, Founder & Lead Developer

I'm a computer engineer from Michigan that recently relocated to the valley to pursue entrepreneurial interests. • Looking to buy, sell, swap equipment.
• Sharing what they want to do or learn in sports.

5. Kindoma: "Kindoma Storytime helps children read books with their long distance family."

Kindoma Storytime allows families who live apart to connect and read stories together. Our free iPad app, available in the iTunes store, combines real-time video chat and ebooks to structure long-distance interactions. In Kindoma’s communication hub for families, both sides see the same view of the book library and anyone can select a book to read. Turning the page of the book on one side is instantly reflected on the other side. And when a reader points to something on the page, a shadow hand will appear on the other end. Families with young children who struggle to keep in touch, now can read books together and share personal stories.
We just launched Kindoma Storytime last week:

Is this meetup, like most, only and specifically for tech based inventions and innovations? Many of us in this region have ideas for products that can add to the quality of life and be profitable at the same time.

Great. Was there supposed to be food last time or this time? Someone mentioned that. Other than that, each time I attend these meetups, the judges give great feedback and the founders have awesome pitches. Great job organizers!
