Our September meetup will be at Box in Los Altos, and our main topic is data and synchronization. How can we present rich data in our apps from network services, especially when our network connections are less than perfect.
Speakers:
Jens Alfke of Couchbase will present TouchDB, an iOS port of the popular CouchDB database, which offers powerful synchronization features and the flexibility of a document database.
Michael Johnston of Simperium will talk about Simperium's SDK for data synchronization.
Tim Anglade of Apigee will talk about Usergrid, Apigee's platform for building APIs that you can run on their servers or host yourself.
And the Box API team will show us how to use Box One Cloud Libraries to connect applications to the cloud.
Did anyone do a write-up of this meetup? It sounds like it was great, and I regret missing it.

Yesterday's session was one of the best sessions I have attended. It rings a bell and validates some of the decisions we had to take for syncing and databases.
Tim, Kudos for organizing a stellar session as always.

And don't miss this important note about parking from Box:
> There is limited parking in the lot in front of the building as well as street parking. Please do not park in the Residence Inn hotel parking lot. There is also overflow parking at 4410 El Camino Real which is the building right next to us. Instead of U-turning at Del Medio Ave, you would turn directly into the 4410 property.
We'll have pizza tonight provided by Box.
See you this evening!
Tim
