Creating Opportunities and Applications on the iPhone

We'll open at 6:30 for a social and networking time.
At 7pm, Chi-Hua Chien of KPCB will talk about the iFund, KPCB's $100 million fund for investing in new iPhone applications. We'll be looking for insight and ideas about the kinds of projects KPCB wants to fund and have a time for open Q&A with Chi-Hua. Then we'll take a break to spend some time mixing.
At 8pm we'll present a brief tutorial on Objective-C, the language that's used to build iPhone apps, followed by a technical Q&A.
We'll adjourn and be out by 9pm.

Terry TuckerWhat a great opportunity to hear "what it takes" directly from the cream of the venture world. It was a leapfrog jump-start into the thinking that makes the iPhone such transformational technology. Chi-Hua was an organized speaker and very clear about what we, as developers and entrepreneurs, need to show to take advantage of the KP iPhone fund. The discussion definitely got the gears moving in my head. Good job, guys, and thanks again to Chi-Hua.
