Now that we've made it through the opening of the App Store, let's use our next meeting to compare notes and share stories. If you have an application in the store, bring your app and tell us your story in a 10 minute lightning talk. Or, if your app's not out yet but you have something interesting to show about it, bring that too. If you'd like a confirmed time slot, please send me an email.
Note our new location: this month we'll be meeting at the offices of the TIPS group in Palo Alto.
Our July meetup will be at the offices of the TIPS Group (http://www.tipsgroup.com/
) in Palo Alto.
I expect that we'll have a lot of news from tomorrow's app store opening. I've talked with a few people about giving 15-20 minute presentations but would like to spend much of our time giving people a chance to show their work and tell their project and app store stories. So if you've got an iPhone app and a story to tell about it, get in touch with me to get a time slot. Thanks!
Presentations: Some good, some bad, some ugly. Overall good. Really enjoyed the gathering. High quality individuals.

We get together monthly to share projects, opportunities, and how-tos related to developing for iOS. Experienced developers, newcomers, and people with ideas are all welcome. We've enjoyed presentations from investors, entrepreneurs, and experts in all sorts of relevant topics from user interface design to programming to marketing and business development. Each meeting usually contains a couple of fast-paced but deep talks and several demos. We don't do a lot of detailed programming instruction (there are lots of other resources for that), but instead focus on getting iOS developers and entrepreneurs together with each other and with the resources they need to succeed. Got an iOS project? Come join us!
Logistical note: On a typical meetup night, we open the meetup at 6:30 to give people some time to meet and mix at the beginning while we get set up for talks to start at 7. Thanks!
