Event Description

Ever wonder how those cool demos are created for JavaOne and other major confernences?  Well its your luck day because at this meetup Alexander Kouznetzov will show how JavaFX samples and demos are created by Oracle's engineers.  Featuring:  Cool 2D and 3D graphics with JavaFX in MandelbrotSet sample, 3D Chessboard and 3D chess robot animated demos.

      We should have the recording posted soon-ish and we will generally stream to both SteveOnJava/svjugfx and Nighthacking but I think Stephen was on autopilot during setup after doing Nighthacking for two months straight.

    Please note we are doing this a week earlier than normal due to Stephens schedule. Alex will be presenting some subset of: the Duke Pad, a JavaFX based Mandelbrot set viewer, a JavaFX simulation of the chess robot showed at JavaOne, and a robotic arm doing interesting things controlled by java.
