Thanks for the opportunity to speak at the SV JavaFX User Group! When I have time next week, I plan to record a screencast with clearer audio and visuals covering JavaFX 3D. I'll post the new URL in these comments when I've finished preparing the screencast.

We forgot to give out the IntelliJ IDEA license, so the first person that was at the meetup or on the stream, that can send me an email (at my WidgetFX address) with 3 of the 7 key new 3D features of JavaFX as per Johns slide labeled JavaFX 3D Features will win.

Unfortunately, I had a class yesterday and could not attend virtually. Is there a recorded version somewhere that we can watch to catch up?

Some people were asking where you can download JavaFX 3D from: we currently only have a Windows implementation (Mac OS X will be next). As with all JavaFX 8 planned features, 3D is part of the JDK 8 Early Access weekly builds available at http://jdk8.java.net/download.h...![]()

Would love to attend, but will likely be attending virtually (from SF); hope the video streaming goes well. Even posting something online later would still be a +1.

When you say "register for this meetup" do you mean simply RSVP "yes" on this page on Meetup.com, or is there some other place I have to register?
What about parking? Where are we allowed to park? I see that there are parking lots all over the place, but which ones are visitors allowed to park in?

This meetup sounds amazing. "Meet the Robinsons" is still one of my favorites. :)
