Abstract of the session
Solid-state technologies are changing the way that MySQL users run their databases. DBAs are achieving significant TCO savings through performance enhancements, reliability improvements, and reduced energy and real estate costs using solid-state technologies. Solid state is changing the way datacenters look and how MySQL Servers perform.
About the speaker
Michael Spitz is a man of knowledge and experience. Towards the beginning of his career he worked as the Senior Systems Administrator for Netcom Inc./Mindspring Inc. His next venture was working as the Senior Manager of Strategic Operations for Digital Impact Inc. Shortly thereafter, he became a Consulting Systems Engineer—something that he has done for the last decade with three different companies. Now, with Fusion-io, Michael’s years of experience and insightful contributions are of great worth. He is constantly analyzing issues and implementing systems to increase customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency. Overall, he has played and will continue to play a key role in the success of Fusion-io.
