PLEASE NOTE: Starting in March, the 150 rsvp's is a hard number (and accounts for no-shows). We've run for 3+ years without being so strict, but as of late, we've been larger than capacity. Please only RSVP if you're sure your coming. If you didn't make the RSVP for this meetup, you can signup for the next one on first Wednesday of each month (get in before the automatic newsletter goes out). I like to keep this meetup at 150 or smaller to ensure it's intimate and comfortable (and avoid making it feel like a conference). I have worked hard to keep a meetup of this size free to all.

See my YouTube.com playlist #SVnewTech Meetup for the videos from last night. Thank you to my interview subjects for their time and candor. It was a pleasure to interview each of you. I hope this link will work: http://www.youtube.com/user...

    •  Very interesting, but, as a hardware guy, not terribly useful.
    •  As always, a great Meetup. I liked the last part where statistical and graphic results of the SiliconValley NewTech Meetup itself were examined. Hope there is more in the future.
    •  Excellent presentations with intriguing ideas and trends. Looking forward to the next Meetup! Thank you
    •  Interesting startups- may be a viable business model for newspapers
    •  Another great event by Vinnie! Thanks! I did some video interviews and posted them on YouTube.com - I used the #svnewtech keyword and they're under my account pvc63.
    •  Just one nitpick complaint: order 1 or 2 more pizzas. I saw at least one person besides myself digging around for a slice. Thanks for a powerhouse meetup. Easily the biggest I've seen.
    •  Great to have 2 demos in the same space.
    •  Great
    •  It was my first meeting and was impressed with the high energy and talent everywhere. Thanks Vinnie for doing a great job. Would be great if there are fewer presenters with longer demos than a quick 5-10 min. demos with multiple presenters. Asking the folks to announce for any job openings is great. However, the infomercial used by Mr. Deverakonda is in bad taste: 1. The announcement of a agile entrepreneurs group is okay. However, insisting on restricting people who are entrepreneurs in the MeetUp is BAD and should NOT be allowed. They may reject people at a later time. 2. Does he not realize that MeetUp is an equal opportunity place with no restrictions? 3. Funny thing is that he adds insult to the intelligence by emphasizing that IF YOU ARE NOT ENTREPRENEUR YOU ARE NOT WELCOME, when it is very clear in the initial announcement of AGILE-ENTREPRENEUR group. 4. Last but not least, he announces in DLA Piper (Legal Office)
    •  First timer. I thought the first two presentations were okay. Third was mediocre. From the very back of the room, I cannot see the speakers' faces. I was surprised that they were sitting down even in this setting. Of course speaking standing-up and demoing at the same time is difficult, but I thought it can be arranged (say with a podium). Overall, I am satisfied but I hope it could be better.
