Come check out the Silicon Valley New Technology Meetup to see demos of hot new web2.0 technologies and mingle with fellow entrepreneurs and investors.

PLEASE NOTE: Starting this March, the 150 rsvp's is a hard number (and accounts for no-shows). We've run for 3+ years without being so strict, but as of late, we've been larger than capacity. Please only RSVP if you're sure your coming. If you didn't make the RSVP for this meetup, you can signup for the next one on first Wednesday of each month (get in before the automatic newsletter goes out). I like to keep this meetup at 150 or smaller to ensure it's intimate and comfortable (and avoid making it feel like a conference). I have worked hard to keep a meetup of this size free to all.

Who attended?

  • 141 attendees
    •  This was one of the best networking events I've been to. The room was full of energy and buzz from the beginning. The presentations were all excellent, short and to the point. And I was impressed with the questions from the group as well, as they were genuine and insightful. The networking after the presentations was superb too.
    •  The Expert Talk by Bill Hunt on Fundraising was a welcome addition to the usual format and very informative and inspiring. As usual, all presentations and products demonstrated were very interesting.
    •  great one again. met a lot of interesting people. Thank you
    •  Great demo/presentations by ThristyPocket, Doodle and UserVoice. Bill Hunt's discussion and ppt's on getting funding was complete, focused and covered all the critical issues. Enjoyed the pizza and conversations. Good group.
    •  Having the expert talk at the end was a great addition. Lots of valuable information and complimentary to the 3 start-up presentations that preceeded. I appreciate the time considerations: start and end on-time, presentation time is controlled for each presenter.
    •  Demos at the most recent Meetups have been quite impressive. The quality has definitely been steadily rising. Keep it up!
    •  It was a standing room only group. Very interesting people and products. Great networking. I'll be back. Thanks Vinnie!
    •  It was great as usual, with Vincent getting together a great group of Web 2.0 companies to Demo & talk about their products. Enjoy the networking & walk away having added more awareness in new launches in the space.
    •  Fast paced and very informative
    •  Fast paced, excellent presentations! Vinnie rocks!

       Great presentations. Great initiative.
    •  Today was my first one, and I am not going to miss it for the world. This is an awesome venue to meet up very smart people working on edge of technology and cool ideas.
    •  crowded - standing up for 2 hours definitely reduces the quality of the experience. Demos and slides can't be seen from the back wall.
    •  expert presentation is a great idea.
    •  Good presenters. The "educational" one was particularly good. I've seen folks take days to cover the same material.
    •  Good, concise presentations and very well organized. It's a pleasure that you are respectful of our time, and keep things on track. Thanks!
    •  Great presenters. Good meeting moderation.
    •  Fantastic! Great organization and execution.
    •  Definitely need the notes from the funding for a startup. The talk went way too fast for the material covered.
    •  Well run. (Mostly) Great startups. Good chance to meet others.
