Tell everyone a little about yourself.

Relocated to Bath from London in Jan 2012 where I had been UK MD of Engine, a marketing services group which bought my digital agency in 2007. I was one of two founders of that agency, Digital Public, in 2002 which we grew to £8m annual revenues before selling to Engine. My background is in tech and digital media, running the digital/interactive divisions of a number of broadcasters after starting my career in TV and newspaper journalism and TV production. Aside from Digital Public, I have founded three other companies, one of which was also successfully grown to exit.

Are you currently running a tech company or looking to form one? Tell us about that!

I have moved to Bath to start up my next venture - exactly what is still to be decided. In the meantime I am finalising one Angel investment and am looking to develop dialogue with others looking for Angel investment and/or support from someone who has successfully grown and exited a company in this sector.

Which tech companies have you been involved with in the past?

Most of my experience has been in the digital marketing and digital communications sectors, where I have been on both sides of the table during acquisition negotiations, selling Digital Public and buying tech companies (eg web developer Fantastic Thinking) or exploring potential acquisitions (a number of mobile app developers) in my role as UK MD of Engine. I am currently closely involved with a UK-China based mobile developer/agency and advising a number of other tech, social TV, social media, Connected TV and mobile developers or agencies.

Entrepreneur and angel, new to the Southwest but not to start-ups - I have just completed the earn-out on my fourth (a digital agency).
