Fika with Basta people and Relaxing Week in Sweden 2

The fourth group of people from Swedish social enterprise Basta are coming over next week for two weeks of work placements, and, at their preparation workshop yesterday, someone who had come last year told them about Fika och Snacka. "There you are in the middle of Glasgow, and Scottish and Swedish people are speaking Swedish to you. It's surreal!" We had two groups from Basta last year who came along to our Group and everyone had a great time, so I was pleased she mentioned and recommended it. :)

This Basta group's visit will miss the usual monthly Fika och Snacka, so I thought it would be nice to have a bonus one in May for anyone who would like to come along to give a Scottish welcome and practise Swedish.  Usual venue, usual time.

Basta is the place where we had the Relaxing Week in Sweden last year, and there is scope for doing a similar trip this summer.  If you'd like to find out more, this would be a good chance to meet people from there and learn more about it. :)  We're planning for Sunday, 30 June to Sunday, 7 July. If you're interested in the trip, let me know, so we can get on with the organisation of it .  Photos from last year's Relaxing Week in Sweden here.  More information on pricing and the package here.

Hoppas att du kan följa med!

Ha det så bra!

Hey, I'm heading along tonight but as I've got training from 8, and have to leave early, I'm going to get to tinderbox from 6.30 if anyone wants to join me.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
