Raspberry Pi @Bristol Boot Camp

BCS are putting on a Raspberry Pi Boot Camp at @Bristol. I'm planning to pop along to learn some of the hardware side of things.

Regiester here: https://www.eventbrite.com/event/5643676388

The BCS is collaborating with @Bristol and Bristol University to bring you the Raspberry Pi Bootcamp. This day will involve a range of activities to help the beginner to get going and the expert to share ideas with others:
drop in centre for those who have just got their Pi out the box but don’t know what to do next
Workshops on some basic applications for your Pi that you can build in 90 minutes
Advanced workshops to build cool applications involving LEDs and remote control cars
A chance to meet experts and see what advanced applications they have built
A chance to buy additional equipment
Please register for the event. In time you will also get an opportunity to register for specific workshops at specific times
Please note that this free event is just for the Boot Camp and will NOT include access to the exhibits at @Bristol
Both BCS Members and Non Members are welcome.

FANTASTIC. Just wish I had more time to spend at it. If it's done again, I will be there!

    Just had email from event.

There are still places for a number of workshops to attend during the day. We are now removing the restriction on only attending one workshop. Also – they are now open to everybody.

I think that's either to put people off or just indication of the level they are pitching at. I'm still planning to head to a workshop.
