CHINGLISH Bilingual Toastmasters Club Meeting

This is an event organized by Chinglish Bilingual Toastmasters, but open to all, thus being published to this group as members from this group may find it interesting.

CHINGLISH Bilingual Toastmasters Club is a non-profit community club that holds meeting to provide the opportunity for people to develop public speacking and leadership skills.

On top of that, CHINGLISH promotes mutual understanding of English and Chinese language and culture through sharing and learning from each other. The meetings are conducted in English and Mandarin Chinese. It would be great if you speak both languages, but if you don’t, that’s fine. A welcome letter and a sample agenda can be downloaded from:
Chinglish Bilingual Toastmasters club.

The club is having its meetings on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 6:15pm - 8:00pm. Open to all. First 2 visits are free, and for repeat visits there is a venue contribution fee of $4 per meeting.

Hi all I just checked chinglish website. Looks like we have to pay one-off new member fee. Is it right? What if I just want to attend the 1st meeting to see how it goes?

Hi Julia, the new member fee is when you decide to become a member. YOu can come as a 'visitor' as many times as you wish without becoming a member, and you get two free visits :)
