This group is about Language & Culture - It aims at promoting the learning of the Chinese Mandarin and cantonese languages & Learning about and promoting Chinese culture.

To demonstrate that we are setting up our own Chinese Choir with a repertoir that ranges from Classic, Jazz. Pop , alternative and barbershop.You will learn Chinese songs in Pinyin ( Romanised english letters) its fun.

Members will simply have fun & make friends while improving their Chinese language and attending cultural events like : Music, Art ,History , Cooking, film ..and even singing in the Chinese choir etc..

Culture meetings- We will hold chinese and other cultural events where members that can't speak chinese would just enjoy the cultural and social experience i.e A monthly party with other meetup groups .

Language meetings - will be held in Mandarin and Cantonese there will be a mixed level meetings and advanced meetings .

Based on the Sydney Spanish language Meetup model .In 12 months time this group will grow 4 fold [500 members] and own its Chinese choir group in 6 months

We will also be holding 4 meetings per month ie 2x language meetings ,1xScreening of chinese movies Free ..
and 1x monthly party.

Native Chinese speakers are precious and most welcome those that need to improve their English will benefit by attending our English-Chinese exchange meetups.
