RE: [american-193] Softball at Centennial Park?

I would love to play at least then we all get our shot at bat unlike when we play football only some people get thrown to.

I don’t have a mitt but I’m willing to pay 5 bucks for the park hire and if I could use someones mitt that would be cool or I could see what I could scratch up on ebay.

My Fellow Americans and Wannabes :-),

I'm trying to organize a softball outing sometime soon. Centennial Parklands
has a few softball diamonds, which we could use on late weekend afternoons
after the organized groups (as distinguished from US), finish playing.

There's an application fee and a hire fee, totalling about $60 for 2 hours of play.

1) who's interested in playing?
2) are you willing to pay $4 or $5 to cover the diamond hire?
3) what equipment do you have?

I've got an aluminum bat and 2 softballs, and a glove that I could lend out when
my side is at-bat.

If the fee is too high, we could look for a free venue (are we allowed to play softball in
The Domain?).

Let me know ...
