Hi Paul-

I'd LOVE to come along.  I've not played group sport in years, just have
some tennis shoes and a baseball hat (no sporting equipment) but would love
to provide a handicap for whichever team. :)  The funds sound totally
reasonable and I'd be happy to bring an assortment of fresh veggies for
people to munch on.

When you do get the date narrowed down, let us know - I work shift work
here and would likely need to do some fanagling to get the time off to
