Hi there,

Does anybody know how LAFHA plays into our Australian income? Would I just declare my taxable income or taxable and non taxable (LAFHA).

Thanks!

Another thing to know; it's not really taxes but there is a separate form you may have to lodge with the U.S. Treasury Department.

If you have a bank accounts here that at any point in a Calendar year have a net total over $10,000 you must fill out a 90-22.1 form. These are due at the end of June.

Yes Caroline, you need to include LAFHA in your Australian income reported to the US.
