Hello Everyone, I am new to meetup and Sydney...just 20 days old! Keen on meeting new people and making friends. I quite like the idea of meeting in the evening and continuing for the Light garden event. Pls count me and my hubby in for this event. Dear Parikh if the space in your car is still available I would love to come in. Am at Auburn and could join you on the way.

Hello All, Parikh's idea of staying on in the park for the 7.00pm event is a good one. If more people are interested in this perhaps we can meet later in the day and have an evening meal together instead of lunch. Please send your response so we can decide if we should meet at 12.00 noon or perhaps make it 5.00pm. Cheers Lyn

Hi Guys, My sister and I will be attending, both British born Indians, having emmigrated over here for quality of life. We love all things Indian (and Australian and English!! A real kitcheri!). Would be great to meet like minded people to discuss Indian politics, food and of course Bollywood and bhangra!

  • Vin

Hi, Looking forward to my first meetup with Sydney Indians. Hoping to make new friends and chit chat about all things Indian.
It's my first time so I'm a bit unsure as to what I need to get along....if anyone could suggest something..
    see you there anyway!

    January 5, 2013

    • Lynette H.

Hi Vin, anything you want to eat and drink would be fine. I am sure there are barbecue facilities but they may be busy, so to be safe any cooked food would be fine. Cheers
