I go out walking for an hour most afternoons, shoot what I see and post any interesting stuff at http://www.flickr....

Street art, cats, architecture, flowers, events, people
Take your camera everywhere you go. I do. Mine was a Canon Powershot SX210 IS 14 megapixel and 14x optical zoom but small enough to look like a toy and not alarm anyone. Also it generally works well in low light even without a tripod. When it brok I bought a Powershot SX220, a later model that is almost the same. Then Canon mended the SX210 free under warranty, so now I have a spare.
Hey mIke, is there anywhere in particular you put your photos? Obviously I'm already using one of yours as my Profile Pic, and I'd be amazed if you took photos of the band last night without getting me in a few shots!
Welcome on board! You have a few things on your list that I love - street art especially :) Great photos on Flickr....
You just missed the first Sydney Scanners Meet Up last Thursday. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully you'll be able to get to the next one. In the meantime feel free to post discussions or make suggestions regarding future meet ups.
To do so, this is a requirement: "The subject must be informed that their image may be displayed in the exhibition and its tour, as well as featured in accompanying promotional and advertising material in print and online format. Where information is disclosed about the subject in the artist statement, the photographer must also obtain permission as to whether the name and other personal information of the subject can be used in conjunction with the image." I would be honoured kind Sir!
