I have only been to 1 meeting before, and had to discontinue due to work commitments, but really enjoyed meeting everyone then :)

interesting and helpful although I feel guilty at not being able to contribute more to the discussion because of my deafness. Also,I decided 20 years ago to dispose of my car which means that I can travel only by public transport or walk. Unfortunately 73 Garden St is inconvenient to gt to by public transport as it would mean catching three buses and then still having to walk some distance. Sydney buses aren't very reliable so it involves a 40 minute walk which I don't mind on a fine day but would find difficult if it's raining. Taxis are even less reliable than buses.

This was my first meeting. It was relaxed, friendly and informative with a very likeable unpretentious group of people (not a beret in sight!) After meeting the group I felt a lot less intimidated and was reassured further when everyone made an effort to make their feedback positive and constructive. I'm looking forward to the next group.

This is a group serious about creative writing and sharing their experiences. The meetups provide a good cross of structured formalised instruction and workshopping of each writer's own stories in development within a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.

I hope it continues. There's a lot to learn but there's lots of support and the people are nice, not to mention talented! Writing can be an isolated pursuit sometimes, so meeting once a month will not only connect us with other writers but we'll be able to follow each others stories. The more familiar we are with those stories, the more help we can be to each other.

I like it. Because I am Indonesian, and while I am in Sydney I can join this group, meeting, discussing and happy together. I am also an author. I imagine that I would have good friends in Sydney. And I like discussing and writing, also Multy marketing business. Thank you

I am a great writer, and my greatest strengths are creating 'moments'. However, I need help coming up with a plot. My story consist of this A cyborg, Dante, is sent by the government on a mission to get 'The Book of Knowledge', which "has all the information, of and about everything, in the world and universe" A boy, Adam is met by the cyborg, and is told that every single person in the world is born with powers. You can do WHATEVER you want with these powers, say lift up a car with your mind, or just make something disappear. The only reason you dont use them in your every day life, is because it is taught to you that doing such things is impossible. These powers, as young Adam learns, is controlled with intention, but he also learns that anyone with such free power, would be barbaric and destructive The government finds out about this and dispatches another cyborg to capture the boy. Little do they know, that Dante malfunctioned in a storm 3 months before

We each had a chance to get to know the others planned dirction re writing, and to receive and give valuable input on our current works. I learnt a lot about a genre I had never worked with - science fiction/fantasy, and the other two were very generous with their comments and feedback about my physco/thriller. They spent time helping me unravel my confusion as to which direction to go with my book. Best lesson I learnt was - When in doubt, confused, keep it simple - and it will come! .
